About the role

Envoy’s Mid-Market motion is scaling quickly. We’re formalizing the operating rhythm (forecast rigor, deal inspection, stage exits) that turns great reps into a great team. You’ll lead an 8-AE team, own land-and-expand, and partner tightly with RevOps, Product, and Marketing to turn playbooks into repeatable wins. As we spin up additional teams, there’s a clear path to broader scope (Senior Manager/Director).

This is an onsite position that requires four days a week (Monday-Thursday) in our Denver, Colorado office.

What you’ll achieve in your first 2–3 quarters
  • Attainment & predictability: Team at ≥100% to quota with ±10–15% monthly forecast accuracy.

  • Pipeline health: Maintain 3–4× coverage, cycle time down 10–15%.

  • Hiring & ramp: Hire 2–3 AEs; new-hire first closed-won ≤90 days with a defined ramp plan and enablement.

  • Win rate & expansion: +3–5 pts win-rate vs. prior quarter; meaningful expansion attach into existing logos.

  • Operational excellence: Consistent deal inspection (MEDDICC), clear stage exit criteria, crisp QBRs.

You will
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Mid-Market AEs; run weekly 1:1s, call coaching, and pipeline/forecast reviews.

  • Own the full customer lifecycle: land new logos and expand within named accounts; partner with CS + Renewals teams for outcomes.

  • Drive deal hygiene & methodology: discovery depth, multithreading, Mutual Action Plans (MAPs), and executive alignment.

  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and CS to build segment-specific campaigns, feedback loops, and expansion plays.

  • Recruit, interview, and onboard AEs; raise the hiring bar with structured rubrics and scorecards.

You'll bring
  • 3+ years managing B2B closing SaaS teams (Mid-Market or Commercial) with a track record of exceeding team quota and tightening forecast accuracy.

  • Experience in both high-velocity and strategic deal cycles; comfort with legal & procurement.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, pipeline inspection, stage exit criteria, and data-driven coaching.

Nice to have
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC, MAPs, and ROI/business case development.

  • Built enablement artifacts (call rubrics, playbooks) or helped scale a new segment.

  • Experience with Clari, Chorus/Gong, Outreach/Salesloft, ZoomInfo/LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense, G2, Vitally.

How you work
  • Exceptional written & verbal communicator; concise, evidence-first.

  • Highly organized operator who thrives in a fast-moving environment.

  • Consultative, curious, and comfortable giving/receiving candid feedback.

  • Invested in building an inclusive, high-trust, high-performance culture.

You'll get (do not change, but can add to)
  • A high degree of trust in your ideas and execution.

  • An opportunity to partner and collaborate with other talented people.

  • An inclusive community where you feel welcomed and cared for as a person.

  • The ability to make an immediate impact in helping customers create a great workplace experience.

  • Support for your personal and professional growth.
