HealthPartners is hiring a Senior HR Technology Analyst. The Senior HR Technology Analyst plays a pivotal role in enhancing HR operations through leveraging technology to streamline business processes, ensuring alignment with HealthPartners’ strategic goals and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for the strategic configuration, maintenance and optimization of integrated HR systems and processes that support effective data management, reporting and administration. A Senior Analyst provides support and direction for a product or specific module(s).
Key responsibilities include system changes and enhancements, managing software releases and introducing new functionality, and supporting all aspects of the system(s) including extensions and fast formulas, integrations and reporting as applicable. As part of an agile product team, this position is accountable for ensuring that the products meet the needs of HR, Leaders and employees and other stakeholders. This position partners closely with Human Resource teams, Payroll, IT, and Data Operations to maintain current system functionality, implement new functionality and ensure data integrity.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience with related software applications or 8 or more years of experience with related software applications in lieu of a degree

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft tools (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, etc.) and HR application support
Knowledge of and experience with HR reporting
Hands-on experience configuring Oracle Fusion HCM modules (Core HR, Benefits, Absence, Compensation, Talent, etc.)
Experience supporting or troubleshooting HCM integrations
Familiarity with Oracle Fast Formulas; ability to interpret and troubleshoot existing formulas, with a basic understanding of formula structure and logic
Experience with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) gathering test scripts, executing test cases, documenting results
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
Five years professional experience in Human Resources with HRIS experience or programming and systems analysis
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
Oracle Certification
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
SQL knowledge
Oracle reporting tool experience (OTBI, BIP, HCM Extracts, FDI)
Knowledge of HR processes and compliance requirements
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Proficiency with Jira or similar backlog/project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)
Experience with Oracle HCM security configuration (role-based access, data roles, security profiles)
Familiarity with HCM integrations and troubleshooting (file-based loads, OIC, or third-party vendor integrations)
Knowledge of Oracle's quarterly release cycle; familiarity with Redwood UI a plus
Awareness of Oracle AI for HCM embedded capabilities
Familiarity with Oracle AI Agents and the AI Agent Studio framework; experience supporting enablement or configuration of AI agents within Oracle Cloud HCM preferred
Experience with change management communication related to system upgrades or rollouts
Working knowledge of Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) in a support capacity, particularly Learning Management; experience with quarterly release management and Cornerstone integrations to Oracle HCM preferred
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- (70%) – Participates on Scrum teams and performs tasks associated with the selected sprint back log with direct accountability for completion of tasks in the given time frame and with available resources. As part of each sprint, seeks to understand business and stakeholder requirements and implements the best technical solution. May bring together multiple users to identify and define system requirements. Helps ensure that all stakeholders’ needs are being met when practical.
(20%) – Responds to escalated Service Now tickets with reported issues, questions, and tasks. Research issues to determine root cause and solutions. Document responses and issue resolution.
(5%) - Writes and runs standard and ad hoc data reports. Creates reports, conducts analysis/presentation of targeted data, which will facilitate analysis, interpretation and decision making relative to HR processes, products and services. Assists in the design and creation of integrations of HR data to internal partners and external vendors. Monitors integrations to ensure they are working and troubleshoots errors or issues.
(5%) May develop and maintain process/system documentation, work standards, tip sheets, etc. related to HR systems and supported processes. May also support communication on system upgrades, downtime, and other changes to stakeholders as necessary. Provides ongoing technical support and may provide training for users.
Responsible for fostering strong partnerships with HR, Payroll, IT Enterprise Systems, ERP Operations and Data Operations
Stays current on new product features/functionality to manage and support the ongoing and continually changing applications. Actively seeks opportunities to improve HR processes by leveraging the system(s).
Follows data integrity and security standards to ensure confidentiality of private HR data. Appropriately communicates security issues and concerns and make recommendations to leadership.
