Senior Financial Analyst - Budget & Planning (100% remote)
Perform complex financial and business-related analysis, data manipulation and forecast preparation. Apply results of analysis to produce recommendations for management and department leadership.
This position is 100% remote. All remote work must be performed within one of the MCW registered payroll states, which currently includes: WI, AZ, DE, FL,
GA, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, TN, TX, and UT.
Analyzes past and present financial data of an organization and estimates future revenues and expenditures, applying principles of finance.
Conducts financial analysis, analyzes P&L statements, and prepares accurate and timely reports.
Generates forecasts to analyze financial trends and research impact of decisions and ROI.
Perform complex analysis of data and identify and communicate trends, data manipulation, and report generation.
Administer financial, statistical and marketing projects.
Identify and propose solutions to inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue optimization.
Develop, generate and maintain monthly financial and statistical reports for internal and external distribution.
Prepare annual budget for assigned cost centers including projections of revenue and expense, FTE and clinic/physician productivity measurements. Analyze monthly financial and statistical performance compared to budget. Research variances and provide insight as to why they are occurring.
Act as a business advisor for assigned cost centers.
Apply results of analysis of multiple complex reports to produce recommendations for management and various stakeholders.
Prepare ad hoc requests and provide financial interpretation, analysis and market-based information to multiple stakeholders.
Identify and propose solutions to inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue optimization.
Administer database structure and ensure data integrity.
Oversee completion of special projects as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of technical, business, consultation, project management, and cultural awareness.
Customer focus, building trust, communication, critical thinking, and influencing skills.
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Required Experience: 7 years
Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.
Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.
Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
Target salary range for this position is between $81,100.00 and $103,300.00 annually. The final offered salary will depend on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and knowledge, as well as considerations of internal equity and market alignment.
