We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Employee Development Specialist specializing in electrical systems and repair to join our dynamic team at the Kennedy Space Center in Titusville, Fla supporting our delivery team. This role requires an Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive knowledge and experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations for both commercial and military aircraft. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in electrical and electronic systems. They will collaborate effectively with teammates to assist in the delivery of the Electrical training Statement of Work (SOW).
The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience in airplane systems. Power distribution, powerplant, electrical systems, hydraulic, navigation, avionics, fuel, and pneumatic. Experience with NASA and J standard preferred.
This role is responsible for defining project scope, overseeing curriculum development, and delivering specialized training programs that enhance employee performance and align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will serve as a lead instructor, deploy development tools, and lead performance analysis to recommend improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope and recommend deliverables, budget, and resource allocation for employee development initiatives
- Oversee curriculum development, including review of course content, instructional materials, testing, and system access requirements
- Identify business-specific learning objectives and adapt curriculum content and delivery methods to meet diverse learner needs
- Serve as a lead instructor in specialized content areas, delivering engaging and effective training sessions
- Deploy development tools and monitor their implementation to ensure successful learning outcomes
- Identify potential performance issues and lead performance analysis efforts to develop actionable improvement recommendations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide guidance and consultation on employee development strategies
- Provide subject matter expertise in electrical fabrication and repair related to MRO operations for commercial and military aircraft
- Assist in the fabrication and repair efforts outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) through effective collaboration with the Field Operations Team
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience)
- Experience training and/or mentoring in a technical environment
- 5+ years of experience in Electrical design; including but not limited to Electrical Systems design, Wire Design, Electrical Equipment Installation, and Wire Installation Design
- 5+ years of experience using any of the following systems: Enovia, REDARS, PSDS, CDS, MES, DELMIA, GOLDesp, WIRS, CAPP, IVT, NCM, or OWI
- 5+ years of experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
- 5+ years of experience working with or around fiber optics
- 5+ years of experience developing and implementing process improvements
- 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Associate degree or higher
- Experience with learning management system course and curricula architecture, curricula management, and course delivery
- Experience with Project/Program leadership
- Experience with e-learning platforms and multimedia tools
- Experience in creating and delivering Stakeholder and Executive briefings
- Experience with the Quality Management System and Material Review process
- Experience using the Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM)
- Advanced communication skills in working with teammates and senior levels of leadership
