The Sr. Director of Human Resources is responsible for helping leadership align organizational and people capabilities with the business strategy and needs; optimizing the employee experience; and driving an organizational climate that attracts, develops and retains top talent across all global locations. The successful Sr. HR Director has strong business acumen, is innovative and strategically minded while supporting the execution of daily operational tactics. Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer and EVP of Operations, the Sr. HR Director will develop and foster a world-class HR organization that is respected and recognized for exceptional leadership, effectiveness, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead a strategic plan to develop and cultivate a highly engaged, global workforce
• Define and implement HR initiatives across the employee journey to drive high employee engagement and retention through onboarding, performance management, training & development, organizational effectiveness, organizational structure & succession planning, and compensation strategy
• Frequently engage with Convercent leadership and staff to ensure alignment of HR vision and initiatives with dynamic people, culture, and business needs
• Strengthen Convercent brand awareness by engaging with local communities, developing strong recruiting strategies, and building a reputation of excellence and exceptional employee experiences
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new employment laws and regulations; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
• Implement and utilize technology to collect, monitor and report on key metrics such as, staff turnover, employee NPS, time to hire, cost per hire, and overall employee engagement
• Foster programs that develop high performance teams and reward employees for demonstrating desired behaviors and living Convercent’s core values
• Leverage HR analytics from recruiting through offboarding to proactively inform leadership and drive innovation and strategy
• Drive people processes and ensure compliance to global practices and policies for all Convercent employee locations (currently US and Europe)
• Implement competitive employee compensation, including commissions and benefit plans that attract, retain and reward top talent in different geographies
• Manage, inspire, and develop direct reports
• Partner with Chief Compliance Officer and act as a point of escalation for performance, ethics and compliance related issues in a legally compliant and professional way

Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 8 years experience in HR with a minimum of 3 years experience in a leadership position
• SPHR professional designation preferred
• Experience managing an HR team and working cross-culturally in a global business environment
• Passionate about creating a culture of excellence – elevating everyday work experiences for Convercent employees
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to think strategically, analytically and creatively while executing HR programs with precision
• Ability to inspire confidence in senior leadership and management teams through timely delivery of information, demonstrating a partnership mentality, and using data to drive strategies
• Embrace and adopt technologies to optimize initiatives, deliverables and results
• Highly motivated, self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and diligence about quality outcomes
• Clear communicator with professional presence and the ability to lead through influence
• Experience developing and measuring KPIs to drive business decisions
