What You’ll Do:
Billtrust is seeking a Senior Customer Account Executive (Corporate) to lead and expand strategic relationships with our most important mid-market and corporate customers. In this senior-level role, you'll be accountable for revenue growth across a portfolio of high-potential accounts by identifying complex upsell and cross-sell opportunities across our enterprise-grade SaaS order-to-cash solutions.
You’ll engage with organizations managing substantial AR and payments operations, often with multi-entity, multi-location structures, and increasingly complex finance and IT ecosystems. Your ability to influence executive stakeholders, shape long-term account strategies, and deliver measurable business outcomes will be key to your success.
Own and grow a portfolio of strategic corporate accounts, focusing on multi-product expansion, retention, and deepening executive-level partnerships.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior Finance, IT, and Procurement leaders, driving alignment between Billtrust capabilities and strategic business initiatives (e.g., digital transformation, automation, and working capital optimization).
Deliver executive-ready business reviews, product demonstrations, and ROI-based value stories tailored to the customer's industry, priorities, and roadmap.
Partner with Customer Success, Professional Services, Product, and Marketing teams to co-create success plans that accelerate value realization and expansion.
Develop long-range account strategies that proactively identify whitespace opportunities and address risks to customer satisfaction and renewal.
Bring a deep understanding of AR workflows, ERP ecosystems, and digital payments to advise customers on best practices and drive solution adoption.
Serve as the voice of the customer internally, surfacing insights that inform our product roadmap and customer experience strategy.
Lead commercial negotiations, contract renewals, and executive-level procurement discussions with confidence and creativity.
5+ years of experience in customer-facing sales or account management roles, managing complex corporate or mid-market B2B accounts in SaaS, FinTech, or related industries.
Demonstrated success growing strategic accounts and exceeding revenue targets through consultative selling and account development.
Track record of leading large-scale upsell/cross-sell motions with deal sizes in the $50k–$250K+ ARR range.
Deep familiarity with financial technology, especially AR, digital payments, and order-to-cash automation.
Ability to navigate complex organizations and influence VP and C-level decision-makers across Finance, IT, and Operations.
Proven ability to build and execute strategic account plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Intacct, or equivalent mid-market systems.
Proficiency in modern sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN) and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
High degree of commercial acumen, executive presence, and strategic thinking.
Willingness to travel up to 20% to meet with key customers and support strategic initiatives.
The expected base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location.
