Fanatics needs you! You are an API engineer, building the e-commerce framework that powers some of the most recognizable brands in the country. You’re experienced with multiple object oriented languages, multi-threading applications, and building for the cloud. Responsibilities:
- You will develop public facing APIs enabling our partners to expand the Fanatics experience.
- You will be instrumental in the technology decisions and scope features and enhancements
- Your code will facilitate continuous delivery to the cloud
- You will design and build new features and troubleshoot and fix bugs
- You will collaborate with the API community including internal app developers and business partners
- You possess significant experience either object-oriented languages or Go.
- You are experienced in working with relational and NoSQL databases
- You have professional API development experience
- Your code demonstrates loose coupling supporting unit testability
- Your code is highly cohesive and written for long term maintainability and readability
- You have worked in a collaborative team environment and value succinct code commits
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Node, Docker, Circle CI, or AWS cloud
- Experience with Mashery, API Gateway, or another API management suite
- Technical writing experience
- Open source community contributions
