WHO YOU ARE...

As the VP of Sales at Maxwell, you will be responsible for teaching, coaching, and scaling our sales team. Maxwell has experienced incredible growth so the right candidate will understand how to scale the resources to continue the revenue growth. This person will be accountable for ARR growth, for being a key contributor to the GTM strategy, developing the team by conducting sales trainings, as well as building a top-tier, diverse team. They will leverage data in an effort to find the most educated solutions surrounding sales pipeline, territory management, development, etc. This person must have prior experience working cross-functionally with teams to drive sales and people growth, top-of-funnel pipeline, and revenue.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...

  • Develop from the front by assisting the team to win deals and by continually taking a purposeful role in winning strategic accounts 
  • Create efficiency in all areas of the sales process, including: coaching and mentoring, reinforcing value selling methodology, using CRM and BI tools to run a real-time business with a data-driven approach, and coaching your team to do the same
  • Drive new ARR generation from new targets and new teams across the full product portfolio
  • Partner with Customer Success to drive cross-sell opportunities within our existing clients 
  • Exceed quota and drive a culture of striving for success
  • Promote a platform point of view focused on solving strategic business problems for prospects and customers and be focused on business outcomes
  • Design sales enablement and on-boarding programs for a growing team of sales reps (discovery, selling, negotiation, and contracting playbooks)
  • Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives as well as continued outbound strategy to iterate on to achieve goals

IDEALLY YOU'LL HAVE...

  • Prior experience understanding how to position and build value in a SaaS sales engagement
  • Can demonstrate previous scaling experience with hypergrowth sales teams and revenue in a startup environment
  • Knowledge or exposure to the mortgage industry would be strongly preferred, but not required
  • Strong leadership skills - you get excited about the opportunity to develop and mentor sales team members to help them achieve their goals! 
  • Ability to travel 30-40%

Compensation Range: $320,000-$350,000 OTE
