The VP of Sales – US Market oversees all SMB and Mid-Market (MM) Channel Account Managers (CAMs). They provide leadership, direction, and resource stewardship for Sales.  The VP is accountable for overall performance of the Sales organization, the profitable achievement of sales goals, and for aligning sales objectives with business strategy. They work with our select group of SMB and MM Directors to ensure standardization and execution across all teams. The VP’s duties extend to 30/60/90-day pipeline management, headcount planning, go-to-market and growth strategies that aid in meeting our monthly/annual forecasts. 

Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent (includes, but is not limited to):

  • Aligns sales objectives with business strategy through active participation in strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, resource planning, and budgeting 
  • Leads Sales’ change initiatives, alongside VP of Business Development, by continuously assessing the need for organizational change (e.g., championing change, initiatives, and removing obstacles impeding constructive organizational change) 
  • Establishes and maintains productive peer-to-peer relationships with customers and prospects 
  • Identifies issues and makes actionable recommendations to ensure performance across multiple process areas including Sales, Marketing, Support, Product, Engineering, Billing, etc. 
  • Accountable for design of the sales organization - including roles, responsibilities, and resource deployment 
  • Provides leadership to the sales management team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior 


Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a Sales Director or higher leadership position
  • Ability to build strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals
  • Ability to apply knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization’s goals
  • Ability to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
  • Ability to adapt approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

Required Education & Certifications:

  • A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience; Master’s Degree preferred

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect an on target earnings package between $200,000 -$235,000

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
