Nymbl is searching for an outstanding Vice President of Payer Accounts to lead and manage all aspects of developing and maintaining our payer accounts, with the ultimate goal of growth. As a key member of the Nymbl senior leadership team, the Vice President of Payer Accounts will play a critical role in achieving Nymbl’s growth and financial objectives. She or he will have responsibility for all of our payer accounts, including the growth of those accounts, and will have the opportunity to build a national team of account managers. This person will hold themselves and their team members accountable to hit all goals.

 

WHO WE ARE

Nymbl is a scientifically validated digital balance training program that will prevent 1 million falls. It’s an effective and engaging way to train the brain and body to work together, using just a smartphone and in only 10 minutes a day, allowing older adults to preserve and enhance their freedom and enjoyment of life. Up until now, balance training programs have been expensive and high maintenance to implement and haven’t been appealing or scalable enough to be effective. In the US alone, there are 16MM preventable falls at a cost of $30B every year. Nymbl is the proven way for people to see real and lasting improvement, so they try it and stick with it—and then keep living their lives. Falling doesn’t have to be a natural part of getting older, but using Nymbl should be.

Here’s what we’ve accomplished so far:

  • Rollouts with multiple major payers
  • Recently closed a round of funding
  • Validated product/market fit with an initial 30 customers
  • Identified target market of 300 additional plans

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are someone who is passionate about improving the lives of older adults. Our core mission is to prevent 1 million falls – and you’re as excited as we are about this.
  • You are a proven account manager and leader. You have the innate ability to develop and deepen relationships, leading to expansion and greater impact. Creating an accounts strategy is second nature and something that you love to do.
  • You are an expert on payers and have experience in the Medicare Advantage market. You have the track record to prove it, and it’s so good that it’s hard to believe. You have a deep knowledge of how to build coalitions and expand footprints within large, complex payer organizations.
  • You can analyze data and create compelling presentations to share outcomes and results to demonstrate ROI and impact.
  • You are comfortable with the intersection of technology and medicine. You aren’t scared by the science of dual-tasking. You are eager to develop a deep understanding of Nymbl’s solution and how it is implemented and intended to be used.

WHAT YOU’LL DO IN YOUR NYMBL POSITION

  • Develop, maintain and execute a payer accounts strategy.
  • Grow and retain payer accounts; negotiate partnerships and contracts with senior management of payers.
  • Develop relationships with payers at multiple levels to maintain customer satisfaction: Executive/C-level suite, national accounts, operations, innovation, account management, P&L owners, and marketing leadership along with other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure that Nymbl is being effectively used and expanded.
  • Prepare and deliver outstanding presentations to stakeholders at all levels of the payer organization up to the C-Suite, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly status and results presentations.
  • Manage the intake and implementation of new payers.
  • Understand payers’ business objectives and vision, and share those findings back with the Nymbl Sales and Product teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare Advantage, value-based health care, and competitors.
  • Ensure that we maintain superior customer service levels.
  • Hire, train, mentor, and coach the individual account team members.
  • Travel as necessary, likely significantly, to achieve the above goals.

 

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Proven executive level management experience
  • A minimum of 5 years successful track record with payers and Medicare Advantage plans, or similar experience
  • A minimum of 5 years experience leading account teams, or similar experience
  • Strong ability to position solutions for expansion and to build support within a payer organization
  • Ability to communicate and influence at the C-level of payer organizations
  • Ability to conduct engaging reporting meetings
  • Ability to conduct boardroom presentations and facilitate group discussions
  • Desire to travel domestically up to 50%
  • Natural curiosity, an inquisitive nature, and a true desire to learn and grow
  • An understanding of startup environment and willingness to break through walls
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive independently
  • Exceptional communication and attention to detail
  • The highest level of integrity
