**Role:** 

The VP of Business Development will lead Ravle from a strategic perspective regarding sales and business development. This person will manage the sales process from high level strategies to completion, translating sales objectives into measurable key results supported by clear initiatives. This person will be the right hand to the CEO in making his vision for the company come to life as well, as overseeing the execution of the process in a collaborative manner with all other team members.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, knowledgeable leader who understands the ins and outs of business development, sales, and sales management. This person should be proactive, innovative and passionate about what Ravle has to offer.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and evolve direct sales strategy
- Manage and improve sales systems to be an effective and efficient as possible.
- Expand and leverage network to increase deal flow
- Offer expert advice to further develop and improve sales team as it grows
- Build sales pipeline and execute sales strategy to close deals inline or above set goals
- Support business objectives from all points of customer acquisition
- Customer relationship management

**Results:**

- Increase customer acquisition and grow sales funnel
- Help develop strong brand recognition and reputation in desired industries
- Improve current sales process and systems
- All sales and business development is properly tracked and monitored via Hubspot

**Requirements:**

- Successful experience in sales and business development
- Understands how to use sales automation tools and analytics
- Excellent numerical skills, including utilization of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
- Talented cold caller, problem solver, and relationship builder
- Ability to coordinate and communicate across all teams as needed
- Self-directed and able to work closely with a CEO
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency to drive the business development forward
- General “good taste,” including an innate sense of aesthetics, a love for great copy, and a creative style of communication and developing sales messaging.
