Vice President of Sales
Ombud is seeking an experienced VP of Sales to take our business to the next level. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this person will play a key role as they expand and build a highly visible, team oriented and motivated sales organization.
This leader needs to have strong B2B SaaS Enterprise sales and management experience, is a student of the solution sale, has previously carried a bag while consistently exceeding quota, measures by metrics and possesses the ambition to develop a technology category in Denver. You will iterate and build upon our current SaaS sales strategy and organization while providing the coaching and execution of a plan to exceed sales objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven understanding of selling “disruptive, habit changing” software into mid- and large enterprise customers. They will have experience selling enterprise solutions into multiple verticals.
What You’ll Do:
- Recruit, train, motivate and manage the SaaS sales organization to achieve quarterly and annual revenue growth targets
- Responsible for the company's revenue from all SaaS product lines
- Manage and support key operational functions, including budget planning, metrics management, forecasting accuracy, customer relationships, and pipeline
- Innovate upon current infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting using SFDC
- Design sales plans and playbook through competitive analysis and thoughtful product positioning
- Directly participate in closing deals with target accounts and drive business initiatives for future success
- Develop collaborative relationships with the executive team to support the needs of the direct sales team, including marketing, finance, products, and service
- Be an “engaged and present” leader for your team and a metric driven colleague
About You:
- 2+ years of senior management experience
- 5+ years of sales and management experience, combined with a proven track record of success in a similar enterprise software environment to Fortune 1,000 Companies
- Proven leader and motivator. Entrepreneurial, unafraid to roll up your sleeves, get it done and "lead from the front”
- Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and future sales team members
- Exceptional management skills and experience building world-class teams
- Customer-focused with proven knowledge of Challenger sales processes and solution-selling strategies
- Demonstrated success in building strategic customer relationships at the C-level
- Excellent presentation skills with an ability to partner with senior business leaders to understand needs and deliver solutions
