LogRhythm is seeking a Sales Engineering Technical Writer, supporting Global System Integrators to join our team. The Sales Engineer must be highly technical and influential, capable of effectively articulating technology and product positioning to a variety of audiences including C-Level Executives and advanced technical personnel.
This is a remote position to support Global Systems Integrators across the US.
Responsibilities:
The Sales Engineer Technical Writer will manage all aspects of pre-sales support including:
- Deliver high-quality, on-time documentation including guides for customers integrating our partners solutions into LogRhythm software, briefs on how our software works with our partners, documentation related to channel program and processes, as well as instructions for Sales Engineering and the collateral they use when interfacing with our prospective customers
- Work with a team of system & security engineers using an agile processes
- Manage document life cycles and maintain document repositories.
- Prioritize assignments to support overlapping releases of complex, enterprise-level software products.
- Translate complex concepts into easily understandable and audience appropriate language.
- Work independently and with cross-functional teams to research subject matter and exchange information.
- Analyze existing documentation for user impacts and update accordingly.
- Perform peer reviews for quality, usability, and adherence to established styles.
The candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of an agile technical security organization. Candidate must possess outstanding presentation skills, professionally communicate in written responses to emails, white papers, and when submitting reports.
Required Skills

Preferred Skills
- Experience working on Windows and Linux servers
- Aware of and understands basic computer security concepts
- Interested in learning and growing security understanding
- Familiar with LogRhythm or other SIEM products.
Salary and Other Compensation
- The annual starting salary for this position is between $70-90k Annually depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
