Strategic Renewals Specialist - Remote
Reporting to the Manager of Contract Renewals, the strategic renewals specialist is responsible for executing competitive renewal sales into existing customer accounts and meeting or exceeding their quarterly, and annual sales quota. The strategic renewals specialist will manage their sales opportunities in SalesForce and will be responsible for negotiating complex deals and securing long-term agreements. The strategic renewals specialist will review and analyze the prospect's current contracts and key account metrics. This will be used to develop and implement a customer specific competitive sales strategy. Using our defined sales methodology and best practices, the Strategic Renewals Specialist will deliver a positive customer experience and secure the sale. The ideal strategic renewals specialist candidate demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a creative, analytical mind; proven track record in negotiation and achieving a sales quota; an understanding of healthcare supply chain; and a passion for our mission and vision.Principle duties and responsibilities:
- Achieves quarterly and annual renewal sales goals
- Work with Sales Leadership to develop and execute variety of competitive sales strategies
- Execute against defined competitive sales methodology to secure long-term agreements
- Develop & foster strong professional relationships with internal business partners including Customer Success, Finance & Accounting, Contracting, Sales, and Executive Leadership
- Review, analyze, and interpret agreements with high degree of accuracy
- Utilize SalesForce, Gainsight, and various additional sources to determine customer health
- Identify roadblocks and works effectively with internal and external customers to resolve
- Prepare professional, well written quotes and contracts for presentation to customers
- Identify customer attrition risks, develop cross-functional plan to successfully mitigate
- Effectively positions upside sales opportunities through strong partnerships with GHX sales
- Develop, create, and run reports as required using various internal systems
- Master and maintain an extensive working knowledge of GHX solutions and services
- Maintain knowledge of eHealthcare trends, competitors, competitive activities, supply chain

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in inside sales & negotiation with a strong focus on complex agreements
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals
- 2+ years of experience with complex contract research, review, & analysis
- Executive level communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional people skills - ability to work well with personnel at varying levels
- Strategic networking and relationship building from C-Suite level to individual contributor
- Strong research background
- Strong MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook skills
- Previous experience with CRM tools, experience SalesForce. com preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare or SAAS experience strongly preferred
- Travel up to 10% as needed
Estimated hourly compensation $26.40 - $33.00 plus Renewal Sales Incentive CompensationThe base hourly range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
