The Strategic Alliances Manager, Global Strategy Integrators & Agencies is responsible for the primary oversight and strategic alignment between Marketo and some of Marketo's most strategic alliance partnerships. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of building and managing relationships in complex business partnerships, as well as defining and driving the execution of field programs.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, plan and execute joint marketing campaigns with Marketo's global strategy integrators and agency business partners and aligned with Marketo's business goals and partners' strategic plans.
- Define and implement appropriate field programs and champion field-to-field collaboration between Marketo and strategic partners
- Produce and manage business cases for partner ecosystems in collaboration with Product Marketing and Product Management
- Support an end-to-end partner marketing operational process, covering campaign design through partner execution. Conduct periodic business reviews with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure metrics are established and target goals set for all meaningful elements to be measured. Periodically communicate results against metric targets, including lessons learned and success stories.
- Educate partner sales organization to promote and refer net new business to Marketo
- Conduct market analysis and develop understanding of key business issues in potential partner ecosystems or verticals
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years' experience in experience with a mix of sales, business development and/or alliance management roles in software environment.
- Direct sales experience is highly preferred, although this is not a quota carrying role
- Domain knowledge in 2 of the following areas: CRM, Content Management Systems, Ecommerce, Digital Agencies
- Proven ability to recognize, analyze, and take action on go to market approaches, marketing programs, joint value propositions, and business cases around strategic partnerships.
- Cross-functional influence, relationship building, and project management skills, willing to take leadership role in driving initiatives, working across organizations, and structuring approaches to new opportunities.
- Strong business acumen and negotiation abilities.

- Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
