The Senior Manager, Central Sales position leads a team of experienced sales professionals to manage existing Vertafore clients with regards to account management as well as cross-selling/upselling Vertafore solutions. Responsible for building appropriate pipeline, navigating internal processes, and delivering against team's assigned quota in addition to retaining existing customers.
Core Requirements and Responsibilities:
Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:
Motivate team members to achieve or surpass assigned quota targets
Act as liaison on behalf of team with business partners in other areas of Vertafore
Continually train and educate team members on essential sales skills
Develop sales motions, monitor their implementation, and analyze their impact
Monitor pipeline growth and accurately forecast achievement on a continual basis
Engage with customers to ensure that they are happy with their existing Vertafore products and their Vertafore experience overall.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to self-motivate and motivate others
Ability to energize team members towards goal achievement
Seasoned sales skills
Ability to coach a team to develop deeper sales skills
3-5 years of experience managing in a software sales environment preferred.
Additional Requirements and Details:
· Travel required up to 10% of the time.
· Ability to work remotely with a stable internet connection on an as-needed basis
· Located and working from an office location (when required)*
· Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
· Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).
· Frequent sitting and/or standing.
