THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a results-oriented Solutions Consultant to work with the sales team to support sales engagements and provide domain expertise. We are seeking a talented, high energy Solution Consultant with a proven track record to deliver customized solution demonstrations.

THE TEAM

Xactly's Solutions Consultant team is a tight-knit and growing team, looking to expand and add individuals with diverse backgrounds. Our team's goal is to set customers up for success by providing a valuable product solution to meet and exceed their unique business requirements

THE SKILL SET

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3-5 years as a pre-sales consultant/engineer with a strong track record of success in the software industry, Preferably SaaS solutions
  • Ability to present to an audience in person and virtually
  • Ability to multi-task with projects across several prospect accounts
  • Strong basic mathematical skills as it relates to sales commissions
  • This position does not require technical or programming experience, but a working knowledge of software applications is required. Experience with other applications or even prior work with complex spreadsheets is sufficient
  • Proficient in the use of standard business tools including PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce.com

Within 1 month you'll:

  • Build relationships with internal cross-functional teams including Sales, Professional Services and Product Management
  • Receive administrative training on Xactly's Sales Performance Management suite
  • Gain a strong understanding of Sales Performance Management space, Incentive Compensation and the business challenges Xactly solves
  • Shadow your Xpert and learn Xactly best practices
  • Complete onboarding training via Xactly Inspire

Within 3 months you'll:

  • Graduate Xactly's Solutions Consultant Bootcamp
  • Gain a strong understanding of the business, begin supporting your assigned Sales Rep team
  • Continue learning about Xactly's SPM suite and Incentive Compensation
  • Continue your education around Xactly's competitive advantage as well as strengthening your business acumen
  • Have an understanding of how to run a product demo
  • Become an expert on internal tools and processes

Within 6 months you'll:

  • Have a strong understanding of Xactly's SPM suite and Incentive Compensation space
  • Begin to consistently hit quota and key sales metrics
  • Assist in the development of best practices for sales process improvement
  • Collaborate with your manager for continued professional development

Within 12 months you'll:

  • Be seen as a well-versed, trusted business-advisor and expert, making a significant positive impact in Solutions Consulting
  • Identify further personal education opportunities to increase your business and instructional acumen
  • Strive for a promotion through continued achievement of quota attainment, exhibiting Xactly's CARE values and seeking additional responsibilities
