What You'll Do: 

As a Solutions Sales Executive in our high growth Payments Strategic Business Unit, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by partnering with our customer sales team to drive organic payments revenue growth to the existing Billtrust customer base of 1,500 customers as well as assisting our Enterprise sales team with new logo sales efforts.You will work closely with a tight-knit team of software sales reps, payment operations, and our product marketing arm to create demand and serve as a payments processing (ACH & Credit Card Merchant Services/Merchant Acquiring) subject matter expert.Your day to day job will grow as you ramp. At the beginning you’ll assist on a small number of sales opportunities while you learn our product set and what makes us unique. As you get your feet under you, you’ll assume more responsibility and begin to help drive our more complex, exciting deals.

  • Deliver timely Credit Card and banking statement analyses and recommendations for our sales teams and their prospects. This will require you to review numbers, make calculations, and provide insights on what you’ve discovered.
  • Consult with our sales teams on their territory account plans. Early on, you’ll need to have an opinion on which companies make the best targets and be able to articulate why.
  • Ability to be adept at building cross-functional relationships internally. People across the company need to enjoy working with you very quickly.
  • Create compelling talk tracks and custom sales collateral around the value proposition behind our Credit Card and ACH processing platform.
  • Conduct onsite and web meetings with financial executives.
  • Assist in selling payment modalities to companies that don’t exist in the marketplace today.
  • Help develop the next generation of payment training programs for our company.
  • Accountability is core to our success. We need you to measure how we are executing on our strategies, both good and not so great.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • In-depth knowledge of B2B payments, Interchange, and Card Brands
  • Ability to build, comprehend, and present ROI analysis to businesses ranging from Mid-Market to the Fortune 50
  • Proven ability to sell complex technical solutions – 5+ years of relevant experience in growing and closing pipeline
  • Demonstrated success in selling B2B payments, Merchant Services and/or Accounts Receivables (AR) solutions
  • Technical sales experience – Must be comfortable presenting to external groups and prospects in person and through webinars
  • An organized, self-starter who can work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to maximize performance and meet deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a results-driven attitude with willingness to travel up to 20%

Our Denver office is located just east of downtown, several miles from Denver Intl Airport. Our Boulder office is on Arapahoe Ave by Boulder Creek.
