Software Sales Manager, SMB Team Lead

Position Description:
The Sales Manager will lead a team of Sales Development Representatives (Opportunity creation and qualification) and Inside Sales Representatives (selling customers up to $50k ARR). You will need experience managing a team of reps (5+). You will rely on your extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. As you lead and direct the work of others you will work with various executives to continue to expand the team and grow new business sales. The Sales Manager will report directly to the Head of Sales.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skills to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI targets are met
- Build on the current proven sales processes to maintain and improve recent sales growth
- Develop a measurable ongoing recruiting, selection, and onboarding system for our growing team.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing individual quarterly quotas for territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
- Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition
- Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly
- Provide online and on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals
- Prepare reporting as needed for regular meetings
