Senior Sales Representative

We are currently looking for a Senior Sales Representative that has experience in selling and prospecting to homebuilders working remotely out of Denver, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina or Florida. As a Senior Sales Representative for one of the most innovative and forward-thinking software solution providers in the country, you will fill a critical role at FRONTSTEPS by successfully managing, orchestrating and sourcing accounts and prospects who will have a significant impact on our revenue.  We are also the industry’s best voted customer homeowner portal interface in the building industry.

The building industry is now in a state of change with technology and a need for a strong customer experience solution and we are the only Customer Portal solution with full project information and a user-friendly service request feature. We plug and play ours platform to any software, so our market varies greatly. No other solution pays for itself by significantly reducing staff time, create a strong customer experiance and provide a amazing customer interface.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive sales and business plans to acquire new Clients
  • Manage expectations through routine and thorough contact and communication with target markets
  • Develop and employ engaging and penetrating discovery process to flush out account opportunities
  • Establish "trusted partner" relationship with target markets
  • Solicit and accurately define account vision and technology expectation
  • Develop and implement plans to assist accounts in marketing company solutions after sale
  • Facilitate effective planning sessions and target account meetings
  • Monitor and communicate target market information accurately to management
  • Coordinate and utilize internal resources to broaden and deepen account relationships
  • Work with management to develop compelling proposals and contracts on a timely basis
  • Report activities and results accurately and timely each week to management
  • Exceed daily, weekly and monthly activity goals for calls, appointments and demos
  • Fully explore the business needs and buying motivations for each key target account
  • Develop deep personal expertise and understanding of company solutions
  • Identify opportunities for new solutions or project approaches for each target account
  • Identify and recommend effective solutions, processes and techniques to accounts
  • Stay current on industry trends and new or innovative approaches and incorporates into solutions
  • Prepare engaging account presentations to create demand and expand account penetration
  • Maintain timely and accurate account documentation in Salesforce.com
  • Participate in selected industry activities, organizations and tradeshows as assigned
  • Communicate account issues accurately and timely and ensure prompt resolution
  • Following up with accounts, formally and informally, to measure satisfaction level
  • Demo and Close target Clients on appropriate solutions
  • Proven and effective solution sales professional with excellent image and projection

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of relevant sales, account management and/or industry experience
  • Interest in technology and demonstrated competence in MS Office, CRM and SFA tools
  • Interested and skilled at “hunting” for new business
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and provide guidance to accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to identify new opportunities and close sales
  • Proven oral and written communication skills with excellent presentation abilities
  • Proven prospect and client management skills, including overseeing multiple clients and tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and synthesize information accurately
  • Strong demonstrated independent work ethic
  • Effective and continuous learner
  • Effective listener and communicator
  • Productive and contributing team player
  • Significant attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Minimal travel
