The Opportunity
Marketo is currently looking for a dynamic and energetic individual as a Sr. Sales Operations Analyst focusing on data analysis and reporting for the Global Sales Operations group. This position is located in Denver, CO.
The Sr. Sales Operations Analyst will focus on data analysis and reporting for the Global Sales Operations group.
Duties include:
- Provide detailed and accurate reporting to the Sales management team
- Demonstrate attention to detail, quality, accuracy and timeliness of standard reporting
- Deliver periodic reporting and analysis on Sales KPIs for Management reporting
- Understanding of CRM Data integrity of Accounts, Opportunities, Contacts, Territory etc.
- Develop and build relationships with internal and external customers to resolve problems; display commitment to achieving team goals by exhibiting adaptability and reliability
- Ability to gain understanding of customers and customer issues to propose effective solutions
- Perform complex ad hoc analysis as required in support of Sales Organization • Help drive initiatives to gather and report sales metrics.
- Experience with a Sales CRM system, specifically SalesForce
- Experience with Tableau, or other visualization software
- Organizational skills and change management for working with large quantities of data.
- Ability to automate tasks in Excel using VBA macros a plus. Microsoft Access experience a plus.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and to serve the diverse needs of the global sales operations team.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results and adapt to changing business requirements; ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities
- Professional presence and demeanor required
- Strong written and oral communication skills are imperative.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Proficient in understanding sales and financial reporting preferably at a SaaS company
- Ability to independently analyze, reconcile and prepare reports and presentations for sales management
- Strong proficiency with Salesforce.com and the ability to navigate object models and advanced reporting
- Strong proficiency with Tableau or other visualization software
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including advanced functions in excel
- 4-6 years in sales analysis role
- BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering or Finance or equivalent experience; MBA preferred
