Senior Account Executive
Wowza Media Systems is seeking a Global Sr. Sales Executive of Partner/Reseller. The ideal candidate will thrive on being on the front lines, generating leads and prospects while selling Wowza’s platform and professional services. We are seeking a high energy, entrepreneurial spirit with a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate has sales experience in complex technical sales and will have an integral role in expanding the global presence of Wowza. The Global Sr. Sales Executive of Partner/Reseller sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy and planning. This hire will travel internationally extensively and also participate in finding leads, developing presentations and sales propositions, negotiating pricing and contractual agreement to closing the sale.
Responsibilities
- Develop target named partner & reseller strategies and tactical penetration plans
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers at the defined target named accounts
- Develop compelling value propositions based on cost/benefit analysis
- Execute against the major steps of the sales process including finding new business opportunities, qualifying new opportunities and closing new business
- Input ideas and participate in marketing events for defined segments
- Sell against annual revenue targets
- Work intimately and collaboratively with all cross functions at Wowza
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of international sales experience, ideally in Enterprise Software Sales
- Great communicator with strong relationship and interpersonal skills
- Ability to rapidly assimilate and then clearly articulate value propositions
- Ability to develop and leverage relationships with senior industry leaders and key influencers
- Must have a proven track record of closing enterprise level opportunities
- Research, identify and recruit new partnership opportunities in the ecosystem worldwide
- Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders in other departments and divisions of Wowza is essential
- Work with internal teams to extend existing ecommerce partnerships
- Delivery of 'partner specific' strategic account plans to illustrate commercial partner opportunities
- Ability to demonstrate high levels of confidence and a 'can do' attitude as the role will involve the need to think outside the box in order to develop commercially focused strategic business partnerships
- Manage partner contract negotiations
- Deliver product presentations to prospective partners, and train partner sales teams
- Build the Wowza brand through presence at trade shows and speaking engagements
- Renew customer contracts to protect and grow existing revenue streams.
- Maintain customer satisfaction and serve as the primary escalation point for any Partner or Reseller issues that arise.
- Manage the cultivation, execution and delivery of sales and services.
