Sales – Louisville, Colorado

Position Location: Louisville, CO preferred, but flexible for the right candidate

To do that, we need exceptional people on our team. We are currently adding a Senior Account Executive, Components to join our growing and successful software company and become part of our talented and highly motivated Sales Organization. 
Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales revenue (renewal and new) by managing a defined territory as well as an existing book of business.
  • Exercise your creative freedom through the delivery of sales presentations and messaging via remote tools (such as WebEx).
  • Utilize existing license agreements and account history to position the value of the Rogue Wave solution to continue to demonstrate Rogue Wave’s industry position as the leading provider of software tools.
  • Be an expert in the art of storytelling in a way that customers can relate and see your passion for your solution.
  • Complex sales negotiation will not be new to you. You should thrive on the thrill of negotiation. Negotiation is an art and your experience will facilitate the striking of a mutually beneficial deal that provides value to all.
  • Fearlessly cross-sell the Rogue Wave portfolio of products through combination curious listening and solution selling.

Work Experience and Education: 

  • BA or BS or equivalent experience
  • 2 – 5 years of sales/account management to include: contract review, account planning/penetration strategies and cross selling.
  • Familiarity with CCS and Challenger selling is a plus. Being able to explain when and how to use each will be useful.
  • Experience in Software Assets Management (SAM) or management of software engineering licenses sales. 
  • Understanding of software development process, development tools and Open Source Software is highly desirable.
