Job Summary

The Salesforce Administrator will initiate and lead the configuration of our salesforce environment supporting an emerging growth opportunity within NetApp.  A successful candidate has a demonstrated track record of improving processes and effectiveness of the force.com platform.  Engaging with sales, marketing, product management and IT teams the administrator will deliver new business processes and capabilities.  The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for executing the configuration, support, maintenance and improvements of our CRM platform.

  • Serve as the primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment
  • Manage all administrative functions including user management, workflows, reports and dashboards and custom configurations
  • Execute changes in accordance with defined system implementation, change management and configuration processes
  • Ensure agile/scrum concepts and principles are institutionalized for quick decision making and execution
  • Serve as liaison to the business to collect requirements, design project plans and ensure application is meeting business needs
  • Coordinate the intake, evaluation, scope and execution of new development requests
  • Establish and execute communication plans keeping all users informed of changes, policies and expectations
  • Ensure governance processes are adhered to on the force.com platform
  • In collaboration with IT, liaise between internal users, vendors and internal services
  • Implement best practices for org-wide security and user permissions
  • Own and manage data quality and security policies for existing and incoming data
  • Define and deliver communications and training for new and existing users
  • Install and implement AppExchange apps for sales enablement
  • Extract and load data into the force.com platform

Job Requirements

 

  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organization including the user community and executive management
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on the system and connected applications, systems and processes

 

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification is preferred
  • Proven ability to design and implement a CRM environment
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
  • Experience working as a Scrum Master, possess an Agile Certification or otherwise demonstrated experience in a Scrum Master role
  • Experience working in a fast paced, cloud services business
  • Working understanding of Marketing Automation systems is preferred
  • Working experience with Marketo is preferred

Education

Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
