Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Salesforce Administrator is responsible for supporting a variety of customer facing related programs and initiatives across the company. This person will also serve as the company’s Salesforce Admin and will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Salesforce system to meet business requirements. This includes making sure that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of Salesforce.

Primary Salesforce Admin Responsibilities:

  • Create and Manage Changes to Salesforce
  • Monitor the customer facing organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data in Salesforce
  • Salesforce User Assistance, Training, Adoption and Satisfaction
  • Process Flow Creation, solution building, configuration and development, implementation and administration of custom packages, objects, applications, tabs, triggers, Apex classes and fields, including documentation and maintenance
  • Design and create customized Salesforce objects - reports and dashboards (i.e. pipeline management and forecasting) that drive informed business decisions
  • Work with the Baker’s data team to design and setup integration between Baker’s back-end and Salesforce

Primary Sales Operations Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and improvement of sales tools and systems for sales teams
  • Coordinate trainings for sales and customer success to help achieve goals
  • Recommend and drive ongoing improvements in reporting processes, procedures, and functionality
  • Identify opportunities to use data to drive enhanced business decision making and promote a data-driven culture
  • Direct efforts and provide needed analysis and reports to various departments within the customer facing org for forecasting and accountability with a regular cadence

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of Salesforce administration (Salesforce certification a plus)
  • Solid understanding of sales processes, pipelines, opportunities, metrics, etc.
  • Ability to build workflows, metrics, and reports in Salesforce
  • Detail and process-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interest in learning and growing in a fast-paced, expanding business environment
