The Position:
The Property Acquisition Trainer will lead all aspects of the New Hire training process for the sales team. You will create, deliver and iterate on impactful training programs and sessions that provide new hires the right skills to be successful here at Evolve. You’ll need to be a subject matter expert on our process and what skills it takes to be successful. Though you will be responsible for getting our new hires off on the right foot, you’ll also assist with additional skills coaching and development sessions for the entire team periodically. You must be energetic yet patient, organized yet flexible, a great listener and a great presenter.
Responsibilities:
- Create, conduct and lead new hire training sessions
- Assist in the continuous development and refinement of each training session
- Coach new team members that are in need of additional education and support through shadowing sessions, call reviews, and drills
- Assist new hires with their first initial sales calls and sign ups post-training
- Identify needs and opportunities for additional training and skill development
- Build out monthly training and keep documentation and sessions up to date
- Train other “trainers” on the team who will participate in various training and skills sessions
Qualifications:
- A background in sales or sales training is required
- An education or coaching background is a plus
- Strong public speaking and written communication skills
- An energetic and enthusiastic personality
- Approachable and eager to help with messaging and strategy
- Creative thinker that can come up with ideas on the fly
- Ability to engage a group to ensure trainees are connecting with the material
- Ability to create a welcoming environment for new employees
- Compassionate and patient for those who may struggle or require additional support
- Organized and punctual to ensure trainings are conducted in a professional manner
- Good at listening and observing to recognize how the training is being received and adapt to different learning styles and needs
- Four-year undergraduate degree
