Your role at Nylas: 

Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for supporting all stages of the sales cycle. The Sales Operations Specialist will execute sales operations activities including reporting and analyzing sales performance and creating and improving sales processes with the goal of decreasing time for opportunities to close. You’ll work cross functionally with the Salesforce admin, and you’ll help to support our internal business needs and revenue growth. We expect you to make an impact by helping to increase revenue and enable business insight and efficiency for all departments.


Your responsibilities:

  •  Create and manage reports in Salesforce and respond to internal user requests for assistance, troubleshoot system issues, and handle escalations
  • Create structures to analyze sales process and identify bottlenecks and find solutions 
  • Assist with increasing sales productivity and ramp time through creating efficiencies in Salesforce and SalesLoft
  • Run the deal desk and ensure deals are approved efficiently and quickly
  • Work with finance and legal on contract changes to keep things going at the highest velocity possible
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity of internal systems, and assist with imports, exports, and updates
  • Identify gaps in existing processes or systems and design scalable solutions
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure that all projects are progressing according to specifications and within the prescribed time frame
  • Support all sales teams during quote and contract approval
  • Assist in training of new users, and grow the SFDC skill set across the organization

You have:

  • 3+ years of operations experience in a B2B sales environment with strategic contribution
  • Strong experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, Sales Navigator and/or other common sales tools
  • Deep familiarity with SaaS sales contracting and approval processes
  • Experience analyzing and reporting on sales pipelines, revenue growth, and rep performance and compensation
  • Familiarity with lead enrichment or prospecting tools (DataFox, ZoomInfo, DiscoverOrg)
  • Experience with Gong.io preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities and a history of success working with a wide variety of different teams
  • The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing tasks in time-constrained situations
  • The communication and interpersonal skills necessary to build relationships and be persuasive and persistent at all levels of the organization
