The Opportunity

Marketo is looking for a rock-star Sales Operations Mgr to join our team. You are a critical member of the Marketo team with key responsibilities including strategic support of senior sales and/or partner leaders. You are expected to work as the key point of contact to a key leader to help manage their business, driving reporting, and understand and drive initiatives for their organization. You possess a record of success in managing diverse exec stakeholders, delivering measurable results and constructing and running multi-faceted programs for improvement. A day in the life will include leading team meetings as their right hand support (agenda, metrics, issues, and initiatives), driving cross team projects to deliver on strategy (System, Dashboarding, Process), and supporting daily asks from the broader team. You thrive in a team environment and work enthusiastically with colleagues outside the immediate team to achieve company goals and can communicate effectively with senior leaders in our sales organization.
 Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understanding the strategies of the organization, and are able to bring data and perspectives to the leader
  • Driving a rhythm of the business for leader with their team and across Marketo teams
  • Owning initiatives coming out of meetings and driving to completion
  • Driving operational improvement for leader around processes and QBRs
  • Managing multiple short term project from envision to completion
  • Drive requirements for system and tool requests, and work with implementation teams to see completed
  • Quarterly business review process development and compilation in conjunction with the leaders

Essential Skills, Experience & Education

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in consulting, technology, or operations
  • Very strong Project Manager skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage many projects at one time
  • Must be able to thrive in a highly dynamic, flexible work environment and switch rapidly from strategy to execution
  • Proficient at Business Intelligence tools (expert Excel, Tableau, Salesforce.com)
  • Ability to work across organizational lines, command respect, and influence without authority
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience with BI tools a plus
  • Experience with SalesForce.com a plus
  • Experience with project management tools a plus
  • Experience with various shared cloud collaboration tools a plus

Our new office is in the Denver City Center near plenty of shops and restaurants. We also have amazing views of the Rocky Mountains from our windows.
