Position Description

Reporting to the Manager of Global Sales Operations, this position is responsible for supporting a variety of sales & services related programs and initiatives across North America, EMEA, and APAC. The role will work cross-functionally with multiple OpenTable departments including sales, internal systems, marketing, finance, and IT to support the rollout and continued optimization of multiple business functions as they relate to Sales & Services. This includes new product launches and associated internal sales process modifications, forecast management, CRM integration, process documentation, as well as sales territory modifications & administration. This position collects and analyses data needed to make decisions about our sales and restaurant service initiatives. The Global Sales Operations Coordinator will support and then lead internal systems trainings, handle sales and restaurant service process support needs, address sales territory revisions, and tackle ad hoc project needs.

This role would suit a recent graduate or someone with 1 to 2 years experience in a sales support or sales administration role. A passion for technology, restaurants, food and hospitality would be great too. Responsibilities

  • Salesforce.com (SFDC) support & data stewardship
  • Dashboard and report creation and upkeep
  • Data maintenance and enhancement
  • New territory outlines, evaluations, & territory administration
  • Data & process management related to new products and acquisitions
  • Internal process adoption, compliance, and update communication
  • Process audits and improvements
  • SFDC training, end user support, and document management
  • Content and documentation maintenance
  • Chatter Maintenance
  • SFDC add-on tool mastery and support
  • Tracking, communication, award distribution for sales & services recognition

Skills

  • Patience to work with a variety of people with varying technical skill levels.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com, Word, PowerPoint,
  • Highly skilled in Excel
  • Strong problem solving, judgment, and organizational skills.
  • Technically savvy.
  • Self-motivated and able to perform well under pressure and against aggressive deadlines.
  • Capacity to grasp and learn complex concepts quickly and independently.
  • Talented multi-tasker.
  • Naturally curious about how organizations scale.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Extreme level of attention to detail.
  • Highly focused; able to execute on one-off projects as well as on routine tasks.
  • Excellent communicator.

Requirements

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - must be comfortable using Excel efficiently to produce digestible analysis.
  • Salesforce.com experience highly desirable
  • GeoPointe or similar mapping tool experience highly desirable
  • Experience using data to make recommendations.
  • College degree required.
  • Strong project coordination and organization skills.
  • Some experience in a sales support / sales administration role preferred.
