Why this role?

As Sales Operations Analyst you'll be responsible for supporting the sales planning and analysis functions of the revenue teams. You will help improve the performance of our revenue organization by conducting complex data analysis, revenue forecasting, and KPI/Metrics reporting. You will also support the commission process, pricing implementation, and will work to continuously improve our data management within our CRM tools and reporting tools.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Analyzing and translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations to drive sales. Prepare reporting, dashboards, and visual presentations in a simple form to share findings to the revenue organization
  • Conducting constant reviews of various business metrics to identify areas of sales and process improvement. Work closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement
  • Managing the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the revenue organization. Recommend revisions to existing reports, develop new reporting, and work closely with the Business Intelligence team on sales reporting needs
  • Conducting ongoing monthly forecast analysis within the sales organization while working to continuously improve forecasting methods and accuracy
  • Holding ownership of special projects and initiatives to drive improvements and support leadership in strategic planning, presentations, and decisions
  • Working closely with Sales leadership on commissions process, quota setting, strategy, and compensation plan design and implementation
  • Analyzing pricing using quantitative and qualitative methods to generate effective pricing strategies while working with the sales and product teams
  • Assisting the sales organization with data governance in CRM and BI tools. Monitor the sales organization's compliance with maintaining accurate CRM data
  • Developing internal audits and controls to ensure data integrity within the sales organization
  • Building peer support and strong internal-company relationships.

For this role, we're requiring:

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) with the ability to simplify complex information into terms that are easily consumed and acted upon
  • Strong self-starter and results-driven individual
  • Presentation skills with a significant focus in visualizing data using tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Tableau.

Education, Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience in sales/revenue operations or finance discipline
  • Experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies
  • Previous experience in conducting advanced data analysis within a sales or finance organization
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM tools
  • Experience with Tableau or similar visualization tools

Preferred education/experience:

  • SaaS experience
  • An MBA or advanced degree
  • Experience with SQL for advanced data management and reporting
  • Experience building reports and dashboards within Tableau.

Compensation

Base salary/pay of $65,000 – $100,000 per year, plus 10% annual bonus at 100% of plan targets tied to company and individual performance. Offer will depend on location and level of job-related knowledge, skills, abilities and experience.
