THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Sales Operations Analyst at Xactly Corporation, you will be responsible for orders management at a fast growing technology company. This role will be cross-functional, supporting Xactly's Sales, Finance and Marketing organizations. Success in the role requires a team player approach, ability to work across organizations with disparate needs, creativity and original thinking. We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and articulate team player who is passionate about Sales Operations.
THE TEAM
Xactly's Sales Operations team is a tight-knit and growing team, looking to expand and add individuals with diverse backgrounds. Our team's goal is to support the sales organization from rep through executive management and help drive revenue and performance. We take our role seriously, but we have a lot of fun along the way!
THE SKILL SET
- BS/BA required
- 1-2 years of Sales and/or Analyst experience preferred; prior SaaS experience and/or internship experience a strong bonus
- Team player: experience working across functions to deliver customer/prospect/client facing proposals
- You are comfortable working with all levels in the organization (rep to C-Suite)
- You have the ability to self-start with outstanding organizational & analytical skills and ability to navigate databases of information/content
- You're proactive, creative, entrepreneurial and results-oriented
- You're able to prioritize requests based on importance and timing
- You have a passion for learning and sales operations
- Knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Excel and prior experience with modeling and analysis
WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU'LL:
- Get your bearings and begin to build a strong foundation, upon which to grow
- Build relationships with internal business partners including Sales, Finance and Marketing
- Assist with signatory and filing process for all required legal documentation associated with orders
- Begin learning how to close out executed quotes
WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU'LL:
- Have a strong understanding of the business, and begin teaching us a thing or two we don't know
- Have a strong understanding of order management
- Assist with ad hoc Salesforce support and reporting
- Work with cross-functional team on formal and informal projects to improve operations processes
WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU'LL:
- Master the orders administration process from quote to close
- Make suggestions on process improvements and present findings
- Assist with data cleansing, data validation, account merging, and account reassignments
- Manage activation-deactivation of internal application licenses and sales tools in conjunction with onboarding-offboarding activities
- Assist/coordinate field sales, sales operations, and marketing operations teams with account and territory management, data validation and cleanliness
- Participate in cross-functional projects
WITHIN 12 MONTHS, YOU'LL:
- At 12-months, you will be seen as a well-versed, trusted business-advisor and expert, making a significant positive impact company-wide
- Assist with annual planning and sales kick off
- Identify further personal education opportunities to increase your business and instructional acumen
