Sales Onboarding Training Manager

The Sales Onboarding Training Manager is a trainer and program management position responsible for delivering, managing, and evolving the worldwide field sales (senior sellers) onboarding program on an ongoing basis. The sales onboarding program caters to a variety of sales roles, including account executives, customer success, solutions engineers, business development, and other sales-minded customer-facing roles.
The Sales Onboarding Training Manager will be responsible for delivering the live training sessions while also updating and enhancing the eLearning content and overall program flow. In this position, the Sales Onboarding Training Manager will partner closely with business group aligned Sales Enablement Managers as well as Sales Leadership to ensure each role is equipped with the content, resources, tools, training, and soft skills necessary to effectively differentiate and sell RingCentral products and services.
Responsibilities:
Ongoing delivery of the sales onboarding program live training sessions via monthly cohorts in addition to managing the associated eLearning content
Understand and effectively teach the RingCentral sales methodology
Manage the onboarding program logistics in a scalable and repeatable way (eg: roster management, communications, training invites) with the assistance of a coordinator
Collaborate with sales enablement & leadership to align the onboarding program to the needs of the business and the differentiated needs of each sales role
Cross-functional collaboration (IT, HR, marketing, solutions engineering, operations, customer success, and other key subject matter experts) to identify, develop and improve onboarding content – both eLearning and live
Ongoing evolution and enhancement of the existing sales onboarding program along with problem-solving and scaling of the program as the company grows
Infusing the onboarding program with new material as new partnerships, product offerings, and GTM strategy expands to be sure the content is always relevant and up-to-date
Manage the development or cross-functional reuse of learning content for sales onboarding curriculum.
Track onboarding metrics and utilize the data-driven insights to adapt the program as necessary
Stay informed on cutting-edge tools and technology that may be leveraged to improve ramp-time and new hire productivity
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a background in training methodologies, adult learning principles or teaching/training experience, along with sales experience.
5+ years of technology solution-based selling experience (SaaS, UCaaS, Cloud Apps, VoIP)
Experience training or teaching others
Experience managing a program or initiative
Attention to detail and able to effectively manage small moving parts
Energetic and personable
Willingness to travel (post COVID) up to 30%
Collaboration skills and ability to proactively engage cross-functionally
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas and solution to others
Internal drive and tenacity
Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Bachelors degree, continued training and education preferred

If you are hired in Colorado, the compensation range for this position is between $88,000 and $132,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
