The Opportunity

We are looking for a sales leader to take on our account management, inside sales, and sales engineering teams. This person will report to the Chief Sales Officer and can be based in either Boulder, CO, or remote in the US.

What You Will Do

As our Sales Manager, you will lead our inside sales, account management, and sales engineering, teams. You will ensure that all of your team members have what they need to be successful, remove blockers, and enable them as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage the Account Managers (managing existing customers), inside sales (non-enterprise), and Sales Engineers 
  • Mentor, advise, and level up team members
  • Ensure the teams are set up for success, are following processes, and remove blockers as needed
  • Maintain relationships with top customers
  • Assists in reporting and other administrative duties
  • Travel and conferences as needed (post-covid)
  • Assist marketing and web teams to ensure optimal messaging

Who You Are

You are a strong sales leader, with a proven track record of success in making your number and mentoring/leveling up individual contributors. You have a SaaS background, understand how the models work, and know-how to guide reps through the process and negotiation.

  • 5+ years of industry experience - preferably in the communications or SaaS space.
  • 3+ years experience as a sales manager
  • A strong sales leader, familiar with mentoring sellers to close,  minimizing churn/maximizing renewal, cross-selling and upselling, and guiding and growing a junior but hungry team.
  • Strong knowledge of the communication ecosystem. You might have worked in the industry or have a passion for learning. 
  • A passion for collaborating with colleagues and love to be part of a team. 
  • A resume of success, with strong results during a scale-up phase of a business
  • Competency with tools, systems, and processes (SFDC, Hubspot, Zoominfo, Outreach, and others).
  • Experience with a top sales process: CCS (what we use), Challenger, Solution Selling, etc.

Salary (for US only): Our salary ranges are based on national averages. We have wide ranges so we can be flexible and determine compensation based on a number of factors including the candidate's skills, level of experience, and location. The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 with the additional commission.

Located on Boulder's Pearl Street pedestrian mall, our office is steps from popular restaurants and a few miles from hiking trails. We also have an office in Amsterdam where Stream was started, and many employees work remotely globally. More than 25 nationalities collaborate on Stream's products!
