Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead the process of connecting our innovative solar tracking technology to utility-scale projects throughout the US. The individual will have a demonstrated history of cutting through red tape and uncertainty to get the answers they need as well as the proven ability to identify good business partners. The role will be responsible for leading the sales growth of the Voyager Tracker product line in the utility-scale segment and will have prospecting and revenue targets, but will also be responsible for working on broader growth objectives such as sales process automation, new product development, target market evaluation, and analysis of regional/international industry dynamics to stay ahead of market trends. • Provide input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the US and assigned markets
  • Successfully execute a brand and messaging strategy and act as an external evangelist for the brand
  • Work with the US and global executive management team and colleagues to ensure that sales targets are being defined and met
  • Strategize on how to bring new partners into the FTC family with a “teach first” mentality
  • Review and negotiate project contracts, finding creative solutions to quickly get deals closed

Requirements:

  • Engineering, Business, Finance, Law, Construction Management, or equivalent degree
  • Proven experience in sales/business development, especially within a high growth / start-up firm
  • Demonstrated appetite to drive growth of the division and have a hunter mindset
  • Professional sales personality alongside strong customer and negotiation skills
