Sales Manager with Car Studio Pros
Position Overview
1. Purpose
The purpose of the Sales Manager (SM) position is to manage all inbound and outbound sales queries effectively and be the first point of contact for all prospective customers.
The SM is expected to build and grow the Car Studio Pros customer base through traditional sales avenues including cold calling, dealership visits, emails and other methods deemed appropriate by the leadership team.
3. Scope and Tasks
Car Studio Pros is a small but thriving organization. We are seeking a qualified, knowledgeable and adaptive individual to join our team! Day to day, the sales manager is expected to positively shape the experience of each prospective customer.
The SM will:
Be accountable for all communication to and from prospective customers or “leads”
Assist in developing and optimizing the framework and tools utilized in the sales process including CRM system implementation, email marketing and other forms of correspondence
Analyze/identify and recommend adjustments to product offerings based on customer feedback
Qualify leads for relevancy and product fit
Ad Hoc assignments may be assigned in down times or during periods of heavy growth
4. Autonomy
The sales manager will join the small team at Car Studio Pros and report directly to the CEO. The SM will have considerable independence and freedom to make decisions regarding customer communication, pricing (within reason) and potential partnerships. The closing procedures including final pricing quotes, contracts and site visits for each sale are to be conducted in partnership with the CEO and/or Operations Manager
5. Skills/Experience & Character Qualities
The SM will be the first, and often, the only point of contact for potential customers. Therefore, we ask that this person is able to skillfully communicate, easily build relationships and provide exceptional support from contact to close.
SKILLS:
Ability to communicate succinctly and with fine levels of detail
Adaptive communication skills necessary to meet the wide variety of vernaculars within the car dealership industry
High levels of comfort with being told “no” and willingness to persevere to win the customer
Strong desire to build robust and long-lasting relationships with managers, owners and dealers in a high pressure industry
Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently within office hours
Ability to conduct a thorough needs assessment and provide the relative Car Studio Pros solution
Effective computer skills encompassing GMail, G-suite (docs, sheets, link) and Dropbox
Strong business writing skills that allow for brevity, pointedness and investigation
Possesses critical thinking skills and willingness to find the solution independently before seeking assistance
CHARACTER QUALITIES:
Ability to remain positive in high-pressure situations or when working with “naysayers”
Naturally extroverted with a desire to chat with anyone about Car Studio Pros and why it’s the best fit for them
A team player who is willing and able to contribute to all segments of the business as needed
Good comprehension of self-care and work-life balance needed to avoid burnout
Ability to easily shift between menial repetitive tasks and strategic planning or outreach
Strong ability to compartmentalize and de-personalize

EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) years sales experience required
Strong comprehension of outbound sales tactics and proven ability to meet objections with solutions. That is to say, many customers will not believe they need the Car Studio Pros product, you are tasked with convincing them otherwise
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in business management, sales and marketing, finance or other related field

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to travel multiple times a month by plane or car, as necessary. Car Studio Pros will cover all travel related expenses.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with CRM Insightly and/or Hubspot
Experience with MailChimp or other mass email marketing tactics
An interest in lighting systems and photography
Automotive industry experience
Base level of understanding of software sales, implementation, build out, etc.
8. Compensation
The SM will be compensated with a base salary of $45,000 a year with additional sales incentives valued between $10k and $50k dependent upon performance. Ratio of security to sales earnings potential will be further discussed if you are selected as a potential candidate.
9. Other
Potential candidates must possess a reliable vehicle or be reasonably close to public transport as we are considering candidates that live in the Denver area
Potential candidates must have a reliable personal laptop (all makes, models and operating systems are welcome)
This is a full time position and it is preferred that the SM is not engaged in any additional or part time work opportunities
