Job Description

This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to grow and support the success of our Corporate Sales New Business team. This dynamic leader will manage a sales team to hit monthly sales goals through engaging with various prospects and customers. We are seeking a passionate, results-driven self-starter to drive success throughout the full life cycle of our sales process. In this role, you will have the freedom and the expectation to be innovative in how you sell and scale new business sales for our Corporate Sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a sales function that drives customer affinity and scalable, sustainable growth
  • Build, manage and develop a team of closing sales representatives selling solutions
  • Work with Sales Engineers to define & build client-tailored demonstrations; presenting to target C-Suite executives
  • Manage and coordinate the tactical and strategic direction of sales representatives engaged in promoting and selling solutions
  • Promote adherence to Conga best practices and methodologies
  • Mentor, coach, and develop new business account executives and SDRs to achieve continued success and optimize selling skills
  • Hire and train new sales representatives to accommodate continuous performance-based growth
  • Upgrade current sales methodologies or procedures based on team performance and new selling techniques
  • Achieve sales at or above stated quota and goals
  • Monitor, support and coach sales representatives with cold calling, prospecting, web-ex sales presentations and demonstrations, follow-up calls and closings

Qualifications

 

  • BS/BA required, degree in Business preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a new business quota carrying sales role; prior experience selling complex SaaS solutions
  • Successfully mastered the following skills: Sales Management, aggressive cold/warm calling, prospecting, product demonstration and closing
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills; ability to communicate effectively with multiple senior management and C-level contacts
  • Must be able to thrive and adapt to change in a very fast paced environment
  • Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent follow up skills and professionalism
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently and motivate a team
  • Management of pipelines, territories, forecasting and processes
  • Experience with coaching and mentoring
