The Sales Enablement Specialist provides training materials and sales enablement content for internal sales in order to increase sales effectiveness and reduce ramp time. He/she is responsible for understanding the needs of the sales teams, gathering requirements from sales leaders and sales trainers, and creating and maintaining all sales assets. The Specialist keeps content up-to-date, relevant, and easily searchable, and measures usage and results. He/she reports to the VP of Pax8 University and collaborates with sales trainers, sales leaders, and the knowledge management team.

This position requires strong writing skills and highly creative talents, with an extensive training and sales enablement background. The individual in this role needs to be organized, collaborative, and have a technology, cloud, or channel background. 

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

  • Writing and curating educational content for Sales (e.g., instructor-led training materials, job aids, and eLearning training materials, etc.)
  • Writing and curating sales enablement content (e.g., sales playbooks, battlecards, interactive sales decks etc.); measuring usage and tying to sales results
  • Owning sales content libraries and repositories in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Sharepoint; taking inventory of existing content and removing all irrelevant or inaccurate materials; maintaining consistent, valuable, relevant, and accurate materials easily accessible to sales teams
  • Creating new weekly product and soft skills content for sales managers to utilize in training their teams; this includes games and activities to transfer knowledge in a fun and interactive way
  • In collaboration with various teams, creating and publishing a weekly internal sales and marketing newsletter

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • Advanced writing skills with the ability to assimilate complex topics to create easily consumable and actionable content
  • Experience in marketing, training, and/or sales enablement
  • Critical thinking skills with a willingness to ask challenging questions to reach a desired outcome
  • Ability to be a self-motivated, strategic creative worker with a drive for excellence
  • Ability to be highly-organized and detail-oriented, along with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Skill in creative thinking and problem solving —always looking beyond available options when facing roadblocks
  • Excellent communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills
  • Ability to be an agile learner who’s accustomed to navigating a high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, and Powerpoint
  • Cloud, channel, or high-tech background required

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.S./B.A. degree in related field (Communications; Education, Marketing; etc.) or equivalent work experience
  • At least four years of directly relevant experience
