The Opportunity

You will be a member of a strategic team delivering valuable resources to customer-facing sales teams. The ideal candidate has experience in a variety of sales methodologies, including value-selling and the Challenger model, a bias towards action, strong business acumen, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Learning and Development team to execute comprehensive training and coaching programs for sales personnel at all levels.
  • Plan and facilitate sales training and roleplaying sessions with a focus on general sales skills, as well as company, industry, and product-specific training.
  • Work closely with the Product Marketing Team to maintain and manage sales enablement tools and resources, including: customer presentations, competitive information, customer success stories and ROI calculators
  • Collaborate with L&D, Product Marketing and Subject Matter Experts to ensure that learning paths, learning cadence and sales tools are clearly defined, effective, and up-to-date.
  • Identify, monitor, and report formal and informal key performance indicators to track effectiveness of the sales training program, sales tools and initiatives, including sales velocity and adoption or utilization.
  • Attend or listen to recorded Account Executive sales calls to ensure adoption of best practices, and to identify areas of improvement or new best practices for feedback to Product Marketing on positioning or sales leadership on sales process.
  • Partner with senior sales and marketing leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvement; facilitate the successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process.
  • Develop, track and manage success measurements to identify macro trends within the sales organization.
  • Lead cross-functional sales and marketing teams to implement new best practices to close gaps or take advantage of macro trends that you identify.
  • Influence CRM and sales technology strategy to scale ahead of the business needs; ensuring that the strategy takes into account the full sales and marketing funnel.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience with 3+ years of experience in Sales and Sales Operations, preferably in the enterprise software space.
  • Experience in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.
  • Demonstrated expertise and success in the analysis, design, and automation of business processes.
  • Experience in supporting sales organizations, processes, and strategy..
  • Technical systems experience with Salesforce.com and related sales and marketing tools.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the sales organizations efficient operation and success.
