Localwise is expanding our online job community and seeks a full-time senior-level Sales Director to help lead the charge. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to drive sales revenue, lead a world-class sales team, and build an iconic company from the ground up. You’ll work alongside a close-knit team that is transforming the $25 billion local hiring market through the power of trusted relationships.

To date, Localwise has created a community of 300,000+ users and serves 30,000+ business in the SF Bay Area and Chicago. Our newly hired sales reps are crushing their targets and building a fun-loving sales culture in the process. With your leadership, we’ll be able to scale our sales coverage across the major US metropolitan areas. You’ll be supported by a rockstar team including top-notch engineers and seed-stage investors.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage our sales reps to help them achieve both individual and team sales goals

  • Recruit A+ sales reps

  • Provide ongoing training and mentorship to sales reps

  • Execute a strategic plan to achieve and exceed revenue goals

  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and other key groups to maximize effectiveness of the sales organization

  • Lead our new office in Denver, CO

  • Live and lead by Localwise’s values: ownership mentality, team first, pragmatic optimism, all-out hustle



  • 7-10+ years of sales experience, preference for high volume digital advertising or SaaS SMB sales experience

  • 3+ years in a sales management role

  • Low-ego leader who puts the team’s success first and is always looking to improve

  • A history of excellence in recruiting and managing sales reps who exceed targets

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup work environment

  • Incredible attention to detail and work ethic

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral

  • Great interpersonal skills

  • Desire to build an iconic company from the ground up (this isn’t for everyone as it takes a TON of commitment!)

  • Willingness to work extended hours with a smile alongside a committed team

  • BA/BS degree required

What are some social events your company does?

The Denver team is really close-knit. We often get lunch together, drinks after work, or hang out in our spare time. Every month, we also have a team teach-in with the CEO where we learn about all facets of the business (over cold drinks of course!). We are creating a more efficient local hiring job market through the power of trusted relationships. Historically, relationship-powered hiring has been offline. We are bringing this time-tested process online for everyone!

I started as an intern while in college and I'm now the Head of Customer Success. Along the way, I've contributed to marketing, product, and now sales/customer success. At Localwise, we believe that strategy is driven by customers' needs. A majority of our new product features are discovered by sales and customer success team members who speak to our customers each day. Team members, regardless of his/her role, are expected to think strategically and speak up!



What's something quirky about your company?

Every Monday we have a team meeting that ends with me saying "let's do it!" I don't know how this became a tradition, but everyone loves it.
