The SEO Content Writer is responsible for developing and editing creative and compelling SEO-driven copy for blogs, bylined articles, long-form content, and more, with the aim of driving engagement, building audiences, increasing web traffic, and ultimately contributing to conversions. This person will be expected to have experience writing content for SEO optimization and should feel comfortable leveraging analytics to develop impactful and effective content. 

What you’ll do…

  • Handle the day-to-day creation of content with a clear understanding of voice, style, and other characteristics relevant to the company targeted industries, and audience
  • Research and understand target audiences through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and clients
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, timely topics, and competitor communications
  • Work across teams to develop thoughtful and strategic content to support corporate goals and track progress using analytical tools and report performance
  • Create highly shareable content using data driven recommendations around keywords, topics, and headlines
  • Drive SEO efforts and Google search rankings through website content, adding/updating links, and making adjustments for SEO 
  • Collaborate with sales, clients, and customer success to create compelling case studies to be used in sales collateral, blogs, marketing emails and more

What you’ll bring… 

  • 3-5 years of B2B writing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content
  • Understanding of basic marketing principles including creating target audiences and catering unique messaging and campaigns to capture their attention
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach

Compensation:  $75,000 - $90,000 base salary depending on experience
