Sales Development Representative
Wowza Media Systems is looking for a Sales Development Representative. We are looking for a motivated and proven representative to help us expand into even more top accounts. The focus of the role will be to develop lists of target companies in our top industries and proactively engage to set appointments for our senior sales team members.
What you will do:
- Qualify and develop sales targets for the outbound sales team including contact info
- Assist sales team with outreach campaigns as needed for outbound sales efforts
- Work in tandem with the marketing and business intelligence teams to uncover sales targets within our database of inactive leads.
- Engage with our inbound customers and prospects through phone, email, and online chat to triage potential customers or “leads” within Wowza’s established SLAs to the appropriate salespeople via a qualification process.
- Triage support and billing questions to appropriate teams
- Some outbound qualifying contact in response to web forms from prospects
- Provide a strong and positive customer service experience
- Maintain a basic technical understanding of products and services in order to ask qualifying questions for triage to sales
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong phone, e-mail, and hunting skills. Proven track record, and an interest in the opportunity to move up the ranks in a high-tech sales organization over time. The role will also include working some of the smaller deals to close.
