If so, we are looking for you. NextHealth Technologies, a leading healthcare analytics software company, has an opportunity for a part-time Sales Development Representative (SDR) to lead the charge for the sales team by 1) identifying ideal buyers through research, email and phone calls, 2) acting as the “tip of the spear” to generate interest and securing meetings/calls, and 3) implementing sales and marketing campaigns. You’ll report to the SVP of Marketing with a dotted line to the EVP of Healthcare Solutions, and you will be a member of the sales and marketing team.

The ideal candidate for this role will take the initiative to learn about the needs, priorities and goals of target prospects through account- and contact-specific research. This would include mapping decision makers at key accounts based on people’s roles and information available in public and third-party information sources. You’ll collaborate with marketing and sales to develop target lists. You’ll be responsible for managing inbound and outbound calls, emails and digital engagement with prospects in order to line up meetings for the sales executives. You’ll be expected to regularly communicate and document the results of your outreach.

What You’ll Do In This Role:

  • Generate quality meetings with C-suite executives, VPs and Directors in top health plans
  • Engage key contacts via calls, social media, email, meetings, and campaign outreach
  • Research target contacts and organizations to capture their strategic initiatives and key stakeholders
  • Convey NextHealth’s value proposition to prospects to drive further interest
  • Document prospect data in our sales lead management system (Salesforce)
  • Track and report activity, including calls and emails
  • Provide daily and weekly progress reports and updates to the sales and marketing teams

Requirements:

  • Drive and persistence in calling prospects to find key decision makers and set appointments
  • Strong communication skills (listening, speaking, writing)
  • Positive attitude and polite demeanor
  • Able to learn and use sales and marketing software such as Salesforce, Outlook, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (with training)
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks to achieve goals
  • Self-starter, ability to learn, results-oriented and persuasive
  • Ability to work well with others and take direction in a team environment
  • Interest or education in health and wellness is a strong plus
  • No prior experience required but some experience in marketing, sales or customer service in a business-to-business environment is a strong plus
  • Recent college grads are welcome
