The Realvolve Inside Sales Numbers

Our Inside Sales process is being constantly refined and tweaked for better performance.  Through this iterative process, we've earned world-class success metrics. Here are the Inside Sales Team's current 4-month averages (As of July 1st, 2019):

  • Connection Rate (on inbound lead response dials) - 21.33%
  • Conversations to Demos Scheduled - 56.42%
  • Demos Scheduled to Held - 65%
  • Demo Conversion by Inside Sales Reps - 58.49%

We need driven sales professionals to continue to improve the team's metrics through individual performance and brainstorming additional changes to tactics and processes.

 

Sales Development Representative Mission:

Through the implementation of inbound and outbound contact strategies, drive  the inside sales team by converting high-volume leads that originate from the Realvolve website, as well as through business partners, marketing campaigns and email requests to qualified scheduled demonstrations.

As a member of the Realvolve Inside Sales Team, you’ll serve as the voice of Realvolve to all those who come in contact with our company – be it over email, phone, or in person. You’ll primarily talk to prospects who’d like to learn more about our product. Your time will be spent supporting the inside sales teams by nurturing and pursuing leads and prospects with the goal of qualifying and scheduling those leads for appointments. This will require the ability to work independently and organize effectively. As the first impression of Realvolve, building rapport in a short amount of time will be a key skill, and your enthusiasm and understanding of our product will lead to success. You will also be in a prime position to identify high-value prospects and communicate those opportunities to the assigned sales rep. Although this is not a quota-carrying sales position, high performers may be considered for a transition to an inside sales role.

 

Outcomes:

  • Schedule and qualify inbound leads that originate from our web properties and marketing efforts at a rate of 80 appointments scheduled each month (dispersed equally amongst the inside sales team).
  • Maintain a minimum rate of 55 appointments held each month.
  • Achieve 40% of the monthly appointment-held goal by month 2 of your employment (22 appointments held), 70% by month 3, 90% by month 4, and 100% by month 5.
  • Maintain a lower-than 30% cancellation rate on appointments for the inside sales team
  • Make an average of 110 outbound dials per day using power dialer technology.
  • Memorize and execute sales processes and scripts as outlined by sales leadership each week.
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain prospect information, and keep comprehensive and up-to-date client information daily (CRM Compliance).
  • Attend on-going sales and product training and develop proficiency with the Realvolve application, as well as a strong understanding of the residential real estate software market and competitors.
  • Strong technical proficiency with all of the software provided.
  • Strong understanding of Realvolve’s "top of the funnel" and all marketing activities.
  • If SDR does not achieve 13 conversations in a day then they must achieve at least 200 dials.
  • Converts conversations into held demos at a rate of 45%+.

  • Personally Responsible. Ability to look past excuses to self reflect in what they can personally do better in any situation.
  • Collaborative. Works with their immediate (and other) departments to help the company achieve its’ larger goals.
  • Driver. Does not accept what has been accomplished as the peak. Continues to push their own performance and therefore others to improve.
 

Basic Requirements

  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills via email and phone - warmth above all.
  • Grammar and typing skills
  • Demonstrable history of initiative and the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with attention to detail and impeccable time management
  • Must be computer/web literate and generally "tech-savvy"
  • Must be willing to work out of the Realvolve headquarters in Denver Tech Center.
 

Additional beneficial skills include things like:

  • Strong Software Customer Service, Training, Sales, and/or Support experience
  • Real Estate experience a huge plus
  • Strong self-awareness
  • Willingness to try new things, make mistakes, but not the same mistakes twice
  • Genuine belief in and enthusiasm for the product
  • A sixth sense for identifying opportunities for improvement and the tenacity and tact required to effect change
  • Formal or informal leadership, sales, marketing experience
  • Previous experience with web-based CRMs
  • Love of stand up comedy and a desire to help us create our philosophy club.
