As the General Manager, you will...

  • Direct the operations of the infusion branch to ensure provision of quality service is consistent with applicable laws, regulations and corporate policies and standards. Maintain an awareness of changes in legislation that may impact business operations and liability.
  • Manage branch operations consistent with applicable accreditation standards.
  • Develop the branch’s annual budget and monitors expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgetary constraints and takes corrective action when needed.
  • Participate in community and professional organizations to increase company visibility and to assist Sales in the achievement of sales and profit goals.
  • Analyze gross profit factors, market conditions, business volume and mix, competition and operational cost requirements. Negotiate contracts with referral sources, third party payors and government agencies and ensures effective service.
  • Direct and oversee client intake inquires and the assessment of client needs and credit limits. Match staff skills to client needs and prepares and monitors work schedules to ensure effective coverage. Conducts meetings with employees, caregivers, clients and their familiars, referral sources and party payors to provide information and resolve problems.
  • Consult with area, corporate, clinical and delivery staff to identify solutions to client needs and problems. Implement company-sponsored programs and recommends new programs to regional manager and corporate staff as appropriate.
  • Be involved in infusion center billing, payroll, credit and data entry activities. Review pay and billing rates to ensure that the company Days Sales Outstanding standards are maintained.
  • Direct inventory levels for infusion and products. Ensure adequate levels of all supplies and medications and timely distribution. Oversee the asset control system to ensure accurate tracking of all equipment.
  • Be responsible for the branch Quality Improvement Program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Care Administration, Business, Marketing or equivalent
  • 7-10 years Pharmacy experience required, including 5+ years of management or leadership required
  • Broad knowledge of home infusion, pharmacy and nursing regulations and administration
  • Excellent organization and communications skills
  • Clinical background preferred
