Sales & Account Management Trainer
Ibotta is growing! And we are looking to add a Sales & Account Management Trainer to our team!
As a member of our Sales Enablement team, the Trainer will be responsible for building, owning and managing new hire training, onboarding programs and a knowledge bank of training content. Additional responsibilities will include conducting internal development training to support the Client Partnership (sales) and Client Success (account management) organizations.
What you’ll do:
- Build a curriculum of training courses in conjunction with managing Ibotta’s knowledge bank of training materials and resources
- Execute training programs for new Client Partnership (CP) and Client Success (CS) representatives to teach a broad range of skills, sales and account management processes and product knowledge (Ibotta’s suite of products, tools and data)
- Work with Product Marketing to provide ongoing product training for the Client Partnership and Client Success teams
- Collaborate with Client Partnership/Client Success leaders and HR to monitor the performance of new team members within their first year; identify individuals who are “at risk” or underperforming to retrain them on the sales or account management skills needed to improve performance
- Support and coach team members to effectively engage with their clients, run in-person and web based sales presentations and demonstrations
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of internal sales/account management training experience
- Experience developing and leading sales/account management training required
- A talented and engaging public speaker with proven ability to facilitate group presentations across every level
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, scheduling, planning and prioritizing abilities.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities with a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
- Proficient with G Suite from Google Cloud applications, as well as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc and common web browser applications
- Basic understanding of sales and account management key performance indicators
- Experience and desire to be a coach and mentor
