ProtectWise is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our growing team of sales professionals in the SouthWest region. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing, adapting and executing highly effective sales initiatives.  This role reports to the VP Sales.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:  

  • Understanding how ProtectWise solutions deliver unique value over traditional network security solutions.

  • Meet and exceed set quarterly and annual new business quota.

  • Generate new, qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting and social selling in order to maintain appropriate pipeline needed to meet quota goals.

  • Collaborate with Business Development Reps, Channel Sales, and Sales Engineers to further identify and qualify new opportunities.

  • Position ProtectWise, Inc  with CIO/CISO, departmental decision makers and technical influencers.

  • Cross sell / Up sell within defined customer base to drive additional sales.

  • Engage in industry groups and events within geographic territory to promote ProtectWise solutions and identify new opportunities.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with a hunter mentality that truly enjoys the pursuit and closing of deals. Professional persistence and follow through is a requirement. This candidate should have 6+ years of related sales experience with a record of exceeding sales goals and quotas. The candidate will have experience selling network security solutions such as NT, firewalls, etc.   Candidate must be willing to travel 50% of time. Relocation is not available.
