About the Job

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Regional Sales Director to join our growing Sales team! This people-leadership role at Alchemer is responsible for our key accounts and global Enterprise sales strategy. The position will lead a team of Senior Account Executives providing direction, coaching, day-to-day leadership, and support to expand and grow our most strategic customer accounts around the world.

You recognize that velocity selling is a systems challenge.  It takes analytical thinking to plot a path for market domination and a unique mix of science, art, and emotional intelligence to build a team to succeed along the course you’ve charted.  You work seamlessly with your own teams and your product, marketing, and customer experience colleagues. You have a strong capability and system in place to manage a high-volume pipeline of 300-400 deals, and closing on average 50 deals/quarter. Ideally, you know and love the Denver market and can help Alchemer become a hub for great tech talent here. 

Our Ideal Candidate

  • High energy, results-oriented, and inspirational B2B tech Sales Leader
  • Proven success building and managing velocity sales acquisition and retention sales models
  • Known for driving pipeline and revenue outcomes in high growth SaaS sales environment through systematic repeatable, scalable, and cost-effective sales motions and processes that span inside, field, and partner sales
  • A strong understanding of the enterprise buyer, with a track record of building teams that build strong customer relationships – to drive adoption and growth of existing customers

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 6-8 Account Executives across the segment of the business
  • Provide mentoring and coaching on critical sales motions
  • Managing the sales pipeline with on average 300-400 deals at a time
  • Forecasting and planning to manage the business and drive results
  • Coaching and performance management
  • Cross functional collaboration with legal, solutions, sales enablement, product, and marketing
  • Serve as an executive sponsor during deal cycles
  • Demonstrate a thoughtful approach to leading contract negotiations
  • Maintain knowledge of the Alchemer Value Proposition and our solutions offerings
  • Special projects and cross-functional programs

Prerequisites

  • 5+ years of direct sales management experience with mid-market or enterprise accounts
  • 8+ years of direct sales quota-carrying experience
  • Experience managing an enterprise level sales team and pipeline management
  • A strong understanding of the enterprise buyer, with a track record of building teams that build strong customer relationships – to drive adoption and growth of existing customers
  • Understanding and successful execution of SaaS recurring-revenue-models and marketing pipeline generation models required to execute profitable subscription business
  • Driving and running growth and new sales playbooks and programs
  • Proven history of success in sales and/or sales leadership driving performance and overachieving in results by using data and key performance indicators
  • Background in enterprise software or SaaS software products and services, CX/Voice of Customer experience a plus
  • Understanding and experience working on complex contract negotiations and the close process
  • Deep knowledge of sales coaching, sales management, and enabling reps
  • Must be a life-long learner and possess a passion for the sales profession
  • Knowledge and application experience with sales metrics
  • Customer account management background a plus
  • Ability to collaborate, handle multiple projects, and work cross-functionally to help customers and internal reps succeed

Rewards and Compensation Package

  • Compensation for this position includes an annual base salary of $140,000-$170,000, commensurate upon experience
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE) up to $240,000-$300,000+, commensurate upon experience
  • Participation in the Founder’s Pool program
