Job Position: Partner Relationship Manager (PRM) 
Position Location: Louisville, CO

A successful Partner Relationship Manager (PRM) drives revenue and profitability growth and value for both our Referral Partners and Rogue Wave Software. A PRM is responsible for managing both existing and prospective/new Referral Partners in an assigned geography through the management of a defined Partner Lifecycle.

The PRM represents the entire range of company products and services to their assigned Partners.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Actively recruiting North America and EMEA referral partners, securing and establishing dedicated Akana API Management practices.
  • Ensuring each partner is enabled to identify leads and message the Akana and overall Rogue Wave value propositions.
  • Establish enablement plans for the referral partners, ensuring each have the necessary expertise on Akana implementations.
  • Regularly meet with the partner and respective sales agents to build and monitor a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Manage pipeline communications with the Akana field sales team and the partner.
  • Keep the partners up to date regarding Akana product initiatives.
  • Plan co-marketing activities to drive joint incremental pipeline.
  • Monitor and report partner performance and provide visibility to Rogue Wave and the partner. 

Accountabilities and Performance Measurements:

  • Achieve and exceed sales quota in assigned Partner accounts.
  • Drive defined Partner Lifecycles with existing and new Partners to produce repeatable revenue and value.
  • Manage Partner Lifecycles in Partner Relationship Management tool to show development progress with Partners.
  • Manage Partner sales opportunities in the CRM tool to provide an accurate booking forecast and reports of activity.

Organizational Alignment:

  • Enlists the support of sales specialists, implementation and services resources, and management as needed.
  • Closely coordinates company executive involvement with partner and end-user customer management as appropriate.

Work Experience and Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Foreign language skills (not required, but a plus)
  • Minimum ten years of channel sales experience in a business-to-business software sales environment.
  • PC and CRM proficiency
  • Professional sales training and experience (not required, but a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to demonstrate technology and business value to partners.
  • Proven record of exceeding targets in expanding a new channel partner sales environment. 

The role requires extensive regional travel and all prospective employees must pass a background check.
