Partner Enablement Manager

 

The Opportunity

Marketo is experiencing a rapid, high rate of growth globally. It is critical to the business that we continue to build sales productivity and velocity. In order to ensure success this requires ownership of tools, processes, and enablement programs that will drive rapid, consistent, and scalable programs (I.e.: Onboarding, continuing education, accreditations, events, etc.). This requires an individual with innate technology rigor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build an enablement/delivery function that will scale to accommodate the needs of Marketo as it grows through geographic and product expansion.

Join our Partner Team to lead the planning and design of Partner enablement programs for our LaunchPoint ® network. Develop plans for the US, EMEA and APAC regions that include on-boarding and enablement; providing Partners a pathway to becoming heroes for our joint customers; and maintaining healthy, ongoing relationships with those partners.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed needs assessments in coordination with the Partner Leadership, Marketing, Support, and Operations.
  • Translate business needs into sales training products and certification programs. Consistently enhances and updates the current training programs and products.
  • Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of sales training products and programs such as classes, workshops, learning modules, and other job aids and materials for distribution to internal and external customers.
  • Build a set of partner enablement paths and communicate those paths globally to all regions where Marketo has offices
  • Design a program to evaluate, identify and onboard new partners and to maintain the quality of existing partners for sales, product and professional services consultant training
  • Design and implement metrics to measure training programs and products impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility. Run reporting against metrics and communicate findings to partners.
  • Create project plans and provide accurate risk assessments for all projects.
  • Conduct monthly webinars
  • Own partner portal: ensure site is updated and accurate. Build content for the portal.
  • Often initiate collaboration & communication with all departments to ensure consistency, avoid redundancy, and that needs are met and leverage internal resources thereby ultimately, enhance training programs.

 Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of global partner enablement design/content development experience along with solid knowledge of adult learning methodologies
  • Experience with onboarding global partners, including pre-sales and sales teams
  • Experience in curriculum development, training, and delivery
  • Experience with marketing practices and product implementations
  • Experience with Salesforce and JIVE
  • Proven project and time management skills in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be a quick learner, self-starter and have the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Competent presentation skills for online or classroom training delivery
  • Marketo Certification required
  • Ability to travel as necessary

Our new office is in the Denver City Center near plenty of shops and restaurants. We also have amazing views of the Rocky Mountains from our windows.
