Metric Theory’s Analytics, Measurement, and Product (AMP) team supports the entire account services organization by developing tools to improve efficiency and provide a reporting suite to customers. This role is a part of the ad operations group responsible for ensuring that platform and tracking configuration are configured properly and well documented for simple maintenance. This individual will work both internally with account teams and directly with customers to ensure proper tracking, which is a critical component to client success and longevity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Advising customer site owners on deploying datalayers and Google Tag Manager Events
  • Configuring Google Tag Manager for new channels, events and trackable data
  • Troubleshooting tracking discrepancies
  • Set up conversion events in ad and analytics platforms

Qualifications:

  • 1-4 years work experience with ad platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, digital marketing or related major
  • Understand website technologies and implications for tracking (e.g. SPA)
  • Deep knowledge of web tracking technologies such as cookies, pixels/tags
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and other tag management tools
  • Familiarity with server side tracking 
  • Detail oriented and able to develop new processes
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript
